Chris Abalain, your local organiser for the Bolton area, has been running clubs since 2007, for Le Club Français and El Club Español. He is a fluent speaker of French and also speaks some German and Dutch (and a little Spanish now!) Like many linguists, his aim is to give the children of Bolton and surrounding areas the chance to be passionate about languages. More and more in our evolving world, we need languages to open doors and create opportunities. Children are our future and so we must give them the chance to have this great tool.

 

The LCF ethos is to have fun whilst learning, and children have been doing that since 1985 all across the UK, allowing local people to run clubs and now in-school classes in schools and halls wherever there is demand.

 

Chris has been teaching since the beginning of 2008, in French clubs in Chorley, as well as in Bolton. Chris organises many clubs and school classes provided by LCF in Greater Manchester & Lancashire areas and provides resources for all of our LCF teachers to use. 

In addition to this, Chris also became UK Operations Manager for the LCF Clubs franchise business in 2021, supporting others doing the same across the country. 

 

Chris is always looking for new schools who want clubs, and new children to join his ever-growing French and Spanish Clubs, so come and join the fun!
